Mridu in Madras, a three volume novel for children. The first edition was brought out in one volume by Rupa and Co. Subsequently Eklavya Publications brought out the second edition, illustrated by Vasantha Surya, Sumati Surya, Sonya Sankaran and Mythili Vaidya. Kalachuvadu’s Tamil version, Medraasil Mirudhu, translated by Prema Srinivasan and herself, also has these illustrations.
